Sixth graders have finally finished their Egyptian self portraits! It has been a long project from tracing their profile to adding Egyptian headdresses, clothing, jewelry, and symbols in the background. They turned out fabulous!
7th and 8th grade students created action silhouette paintings on top of their bubble wrap prints. Each student choose a human figure in action, such as an athlete or a dancer. They cut out the image and traced it several times across they bubble wrap print, with the goal of increasing the figure's sense of movement. Each tracing was carefully filled with black paint to create the action sillouettes. |
