Kindergarten is learning about sculpture by folding, bending, and gluing paper to make it grow off the paper. Students used strips of paper, cut from their first experiments using cake tempera paint. They had a great time making the paper stand up and learning to look at their creations from all sides!
Kindergarten students are using cake tempera paints for the first time. It's a little tricky learning how to use the paintbrush correctly and using the correct amount of water. We are practicing making simple lines of various colors. These paintings will be cut and made into sculptures in classes to come! |
