Second graders have been studying insects in science, so we thought it would be f un to use all that printed paper we made to create huge beetles. We reviewed all the parts of the insect: head, thorax, abdomen, antennae, 6 legs, compound eyes, and inner and outer wings. We cut all of these parts ourt of our printed paper and assembled them to make amazing, flying beetles. We used The Beetle Book for inspiration. Take a look at our insects below.
